Script for Descriptive Adjectives Listening Passage

My name is Ned and I have a wife and two daughters. Each one of my daughters has a completely different personality. They almost seem like they are not related.

My oldest daughter is named Avery. She is tall and heavyset with frizzy brown hair. She is a bit of a bookworm and she loves science fiction. Avery isn't the most athletic girl in the world. She prefers to be indoors reading or playing on her tablet. She is smart as a whip and always gets good grades.

My other daughter is Lola. She is skinny, outgoing and athletic. She has long blonde hair and is very goofy. Lola is always making crazy faces and joking around. Unfortunately Lola does not like to read as much as Avery. Her grades aren't as good and it is hard to get her to study. Lola plays soccer and basketball. Not a day goes by where she is not doing cartwheels all over the house. My wife describes her as hyperactive. I prefer to call her energetic.

My wife Sally is a combination of both of our daughters. She is athletic, but she likes to read and learn too. Sally is the adventurous one of the family. She is always wanting to go camping or hiking in some remote spot of the world. As for me I am overweight and kind of lazy. My perfect day is watching sports on TV and eating popcorn.
