A day when men and women in a relationship celebrate their love by giving each other flowers and chocolates.

St. Patrick’s Day

A holiday to celebrate Irish culture. People wear green on this day.

“Make sure you wear your green hat tomorrow. It is St. Patrick’s day.”


Birthday Party

People celebrate birthdays by eating cake with family and friends.

“We had a birthday party for my daughter on Saturday morning.”



The ceremony where a man and a woman get married.

“A man and a woman get married at a wedding.”



“There was a parade in the city this morning.”
